My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
This world is built upon hope. From the moment we are born until the day we die we are hoping, waiting for things great and small. As children we wait with breathless anticipation for summer vacation, longing for our next birthday, or for the prestige that comes with being a high school senior. Anxiously we dream of the milestones between us and adulthood such as the wondrous feeling of independence that comes with getting our driver’s license, the privilege of casting our first ballot, and the monetary freedom that comes with our first job.
