One of my favorite hymns is Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus.  There is something about its peaceful melody that reflects its call to lay our needs, our desires, and our fears upon Jesus and let Him worry for us.  There is something hopeful in its haunting call to find rest by trusting that God will take care of our needs. But one day while reflecting upon this grand old hymn of faith I realized that there was more to this hymn than just reminding us the importance of putting our cares in His hands.  This golden hymn of faith is also seeking to teach us how to build that faith.
